Paid travel package to Expedia.com included airfare, hotel stay and car rental, but was charged agai

I had book several trips through Expedia.com. Because of the short business trips during last month and this month, within 1-2 weeks of each other, I did not have time to check the bills until now. What I found was that I already paid Expedia for the whole package, but at every checkout time, I got the copies of the bills from the hotels, charged to my credit card (the one I gave to Expedia). I thought that they were all taking care of by Expedia, but they are actual charges for my stays at the hotels, according to my credit card's statement. The same happened when I had to sign the paper with the car rental companies; they charged me the amounts that was supposed to be already paid by the whole package when I booked with Expedia. Expedia already took my money so why didn't they pay the hotels and the rentals? I was charged again by the hotels and the car rental companies. I tried to call and talk to Expedia customer service, but their representative seemed to ask me with more questions -Did you call Expedia about this? -Yes, I just found out and I am calling you now. -Did you try to call the hotels and ask them about the charges? -No, I want to ask you to refund me the money that you already took from me and did not pay them. -I am sorry, you will have to call back... at regular business hours. Please, help me to get back my money from Expedia.com
